Color-Changing Chalk Drawing
Unlock new colors from your old chalk with this color-changing chalk drawing. A little water is the secret that adds new shades to your color schemes.
What You'll Need:
- Sponge
- Pastel chalk
- Construction paper
- Hairspray (optional)
Step 1: Lightly dab a moist sponge on one half of a sheet of construction paper to dampen it.
Step 2: Draw a design on both the wet and dry halves of the paper with pastel chalks. Make a squiggle picture by drawing a continuous curvy line all around the paper. Add more squiggles, and color in the spaces. Now compare the colors on the wet and dry surfaces of the paper.
Step 3: When the paper dries, have an adult seal the picture with a fine mist of hairspray.
