To make the Heart on Your Quilted Bag pattern:

Make 1 block, and construct bag with drawstring. Finished size depends on size of bag.

To make the Attic Window quilt block:

The Attic Window quilt block looks good with with contrasting colors or a more subtle color scheme.

Cut:

A: Cut 6, and cut 6 from contrasting fabric. B: Cut 3. Heart: Fuse double-sided webbing to fabric, and cut 1 (do not add seam allowance).

Stitch:

Sew A to contrast A; make 6. Stitch AA to AA, matching unlike fabrics, then stitch on B. Make 2. Stitch AA to B, with contrast triangle at bottom, then stitch on AA, with contrast triangle at top. Stitch rows together, with the bottom row sewn on starting with B square. Fuse heart to center square. By hand or machine, appliqué heart using narrow blanket stitch.

This quilt block adds a nice traditional touch to your quilting project.
