Canada Day Flag
Make a Canada Day Flag with your kids. It's an ideal craft project for kids -- even more ideal on July 1, Canada Day. Wave the Canadian flag you created together using construction paper and paint.
How to Make a Canada Day Flag:
What You'll Need:
- Red Paint
- Paint Tray or Pie Tin
- Large Maple Leaf
- White Construction Paper
- Paintbrush
- 12-Inch Stick
- Tape

Step One: Pour some paint into a tray or pie tin, and dip the leaf into the paint to coat 1 side of it thoroughly.
Step Two: Press the leaf in the center of the white paper, and carefully lift the leaf up.
Step Three: Paint the outside ends of the paper to make the Canadian flag (see illustration).
Step Four: When the paint is dry, tape your flag to the stick. Proudly wave the Canadian flag to celebrate Canada Day on July 1!
