Some of Tim Dundon's neighbors call him a "modern day green evangelist" but most know him as the "guru of doo-doo." That's right, doo-doo. Tim himself says that everything in his life is "about the number two." This is not far from the truth because Tim has made a business manufacturing and selling compost.

Made from high-quality wood chips and horse manure, Tim's compost is famous in and around Altadena, California. In fact, Tim's compost is so popular that he has become a local legend. Tim has been making and delivering compost since 1967 and he describes it as more of a calling than a job.

His calling has certainly paid off, however, if not with a bountiful harvest of green cash, then with the unique tropical landscape he has been able to grow in his yard thanks to forty years of regular composting.
