How to Make Button Cover Buddies:
Step 1: Trace the Button Cover Buddies pattern as a PDF. Cut a small piece of fabric a bit larger than each pattern. Lay transfer paper between the pattern and the fabric (transfer side down). Trace pattern onto fabric.
Step 2: Color in the design with permanent markers. Make sure to test the markers on a small piece of the fabric to be sure they don't smear. You can copy our coloring, or you can make the people resemble you and your best friend.
Step 3: Outline all shapes with black marker.
Step 4: Cut out the shape, and then cut the slit for the button with the craft knife. Don't forget to ask an adult to help you when you work with a craft knife.
