Pyramid Pictures Craft

Try something a little different with this pyramid pictures craft. By overlapping several pieces of colored construction paper, you're building a picture to create depth.

What You'll Need:

  • Assorted colors of construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Markers
  • Craft glue

How to Make a Pyramid Picture:

Have fun making a

Step 1: Cut a small rectangle from a piece of construction paper. Draw an object or design on it.

Step 2: Cut a slightly larger rectangle from a different color of construction paper. Glue the small rectangle on top of the larger one. Add more detail to your picture.

Step 3: Then cut an even larger rectangle from another color of construction paper.

Step 4: Glue the previous rectangles on top of the bigger rectangle.

Draw more designs around your picture. Repeat the process as often as you like to make a pyramid of pictures. The possibilities are endless!

Tip
As a variation, you can draw parts of a picture on each piece to create one complete scene. Or, instead of rectangles, cut out octagon shapes. Glue them on top of one another, turning them a bit each time to make your picture into a star!
