Paper Cutouts
Hang these paper art designs on a Christmas tree, in a window, or from a mobile. You can even paste this paper craft on a handmade card.
What You'll Need:
- Drawing paper
- Blunt scissors
- Ruler
How to Make Paper Cutouts:
Step 1: Fold a piece of paper in half. Starting at the fold, cut repeated lines, arches, or L-shapes in the paper as shown.

Step 2: Unfold the paper and bend every other strip outward.

Step 3: Cut an 8-inch circle from a piece of paper. Fold it in half, and then fold it in half again.
Step 4: Starting at the double-fold, cut curved lines along the curve to 1/2 inch from the single fold. Open it up and bend every other strip -- one toward you and one away from you on each side.
Experiment with other shapes, and use your paper cutouts for ornaments or mobile decorations.
