Flying Cupid Mobile
A Flying Cupid Mobile placed high over a Valentine's party, or just in your room, might help someone steal your heart.What You'll Need:
Pencil
Paper
Scissors
Light cardboard
Large needle
Colored markers
Black fine-tipped marker
Clear nylon thread
Dowel

Use Cupid's body and wings pictured above as a pattern to draw your own. Cut out the paper patterns and use them to trace the parts onto the cardboard. Mark where the holes for the thread will be with a dot. Cut out the cardboard wings and body. Push the needle through the dots to make holes.
Color Cupid's body and draw feathers on the wings; use a fine marker to make his eyes and mouth. Sew the wings to the body. Attach a long piece of nylon thread to each of the outside holes on the wings. Tie these threads to the dowel, as shown. Hang up your mobile. Poke Cupid's tummy, and watch him fly.
